If you want it to go you'll have to order there take a bite and asked for the rest of it to go. I think it's their way of not becoming a pizza place. But it is worth it
No. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
No...but as others said, the wait shouldn't be long...
Excellent salad. We had the Italian Sausage pizza. It arrived burned around the edges and much of the bottom. The toppings were delicious. If we hadn't been totally ravenous from our hike we probably would have passed on the pizza because so much was burned Server was polite and friendly
This place is justifiably busy all the time. Best scratch-made soups in town (and in this town the competition is fierce). Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever eaten. And I love the pizzas here.
This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. We got the pesto, the potato and spinach and the Italian, plus a Caesar salad. The pizzas were amazing! So glad we ordered three to feed us for three days. The salad was soooooo over dressed but maybe just an off night.
My two daughters and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch on a stormy rainy day. The service was fast and friendly. I had a pepperoni pizza, that was nice and crispy. Just like I like it! The girls both had salads, and then shared a piece of peach pie. They were happy as well. The only downside was the streets in this part of Port Townsend were all tore up as a construction crew was busy installing some new utilities. It made for some difficult getting round.
I just had there sausage pizza, great , great crust , great flavors ,I would give it more stars if I could ,if you like pizza go here
I was really hungry when I came in here. I loved my experience here. It was busy, but the soup was amazing. The Asian curry soup of the day was the best soup I've ever had.Beer was great, salad was delicious and topped generously. And the pizza was simple cheese meat and olive, but was simply amazing. Overall great experience would drive several hours to go there again.
Walked in for lunch today and they were at capacity, always a good sign. Fortunately we were seated within a few minutes. We planned on just soup and salad but the pizza looked amazing. My wife and I ended up splitting a sausage pizza, small Cesar salad and a cup of butternut squash soup. I don’t usually rave about soup or salad, but both were amazeballs. The sausage pizza was more live pizza with sausage, but still tops for the PNW. Super reasonable prices. With the rotating soup options, definitely worthy of a return trip!
Delicious pizza! Wish there was something this good where I live. Crust is amazing!
We went on Tuesday evening and they had just run out of pie dough. Seeing the pizza we thought we'd return Wednesday and we were glad we did! Excellent salad (House) and soup (Chicken Creole). The pie was delicious! Pesto with Goat Cheese and added pepperoni. Beautiful crust... Well done Hillbottom Pie! And try the Mr. Coca-Cola...it's awesome too!
Absolutely, hands down, non-debatable, most delectable Caesar salad I've ever had. And the croutons, girl don't even get me started! Delicious!
In Port Townsend visiting for the night, from a long ways away, heard all this great stuff about Hillbottom Pie.Called to order a pizza to take out. Guess what? They don't do carry out. When I asked why, the lady who answered the phone gave me the full wrath of god. I’m confused by this local hospitality?Sorry lady, I'm from out of town. Did not know I couldn't get a pie to go. Do they not let people take left overs home as well? What kind of pizza communist state do these people run?Pizza must be the greatest known to mankind.Too bad I missed it.
Hungry for a good pie. Looked up Hillbottom Pie. Friendly, Nice environment. Simple menu. The salad was very eye appealing and delicious. Enjoyed a cup of chowder, tasty. Looked around at the pies on customers tables. The oven was too hot. Crusts were burned. The toppings were tastey. The Kalamata Olives were a bit over powering. Too much olive oil that made the crust mushy. Good experience, caring staff, and I'm a pizza lover...good flavor.
Great Marionberry pie. Great clam chowder.
Honestly, as soon soon as I walked into this place, I smelled the love that goes into everything that happened there. I went into there with a recommendation from a good friend for their pizza, but the passion was immediately clear once I tasted their food. The ingredient quality is quite apparently above standard, the preparation is immaculate, and the staff are eager to put said food into your face. What a treat! I will be returning for their other food options, but honestly, their pizza was divine! Mastery.
I'm not much of a pizza person but their dessert pies are fabulous! I'll eat one place and come here for dessert. My only tip is that their ice cream is very good but small scoops. If you care about ice cream to pie proportions, order a second scoop of ice cream. The pie pieces are very big.
This is our favorite place to eat at in Port Townsend! The pizza is unique in its bubbly smokiness. We like the sausage pizza. We also love love love the Caesar salad. They also have delicious berry pies and soups. This food is medicine for the soul.
